Today was my last full day in Florida. I can’t believe I have been here for three months and only got sunburnt once!
My internship with the AFRL has been an interesting experience. While it was cool to see the climatic lab and the F-35s up close, I’m not sure a career in research is for me. I’m grateful for the experience and gained some super awesome and dorky friends.
This past week has gotten some pretty good stories. The paddle board story will be one for the books. I hope I get to the “Oh Crap” face I made as I realized I was going to collide with that poor girl. I know it had to have been a funny sight with the amount of people laughing.
He also took us mini golfing on Friday. Have I mentioned how much I suck at mini golf? I chipped the ball on the first hole! Needless to say, I lost. Well if you go by the rules of other sports, I won because I had the highest amount of points. Haha.
Anyways, as it was my last day, I had to go to the beach one more time. Goodbye, Fort Walton! It’s been great!
